BECAUSE the conversation of a global solution starts in a paradox: to make a difference globally, I must start by changing within.
While this shift in perspective is surreal, it also clarifies the quest: to understand my motivations to such degree that I have no more questions and no need to provide answers. Such a depth of silence is the proverbial Peace that passes Understanding. It is what opens the active listening of compassion in me… Compassion is not sympathy. It is not even empathy. It is to be moved by such devotion that I am activism, as I do what it takes to heal a situation.
